YouTube is really trying to stand out from the rest of the video services in the world. The video platform-turned-streaming service has already implemented the option of picture-in-picture for their mobile phone and tablet devices. Now, they are rolling this feature out for desktops and laptops.

As of right now, this option is available specifically for YouTube Red users.

If you are looking for four free months of YouTube Red, be sure to sign up now for Google Play.

On top of these changes, Google has also rolled out a dark theme for mobile users so they can opt out of the bright white backgrounds. Making these little changes are in line with the many changes they have been making to YouTube TV.

Google also recently rolled out a dark theme on mobile devices giving users the option to swap the white background for a dark black background.
