Gamers rejoice! The long-awaited television adaption of The Witcher is really on its way. This project is one of the many that Netflix has picked up the bill on as it continues its growth. The first draft has been confirmed by the writer of the upcoming series, Lauren S. Hissrich.
The scriptwriter tweeted out the following:

This finishing of the pilot coincides with the streaming giant announcing its plans of dropping the amount of cumulative content in 2018 that is the equivalent to Netflix releasing two shows or movies per day.
Since that tweet, Hissrich has also released a list of characters from the video game that made her first script. This includes:
