Cheddar Spreading its Reach

The political, topical news magazine channel, Cheddar, has been growing its digital presence. While mostly known for livestreaming on their own site before being picked up by YouTube, Cheddar was a viral only news source. Today, Cheddar officially joins the YouTube TV line-up.

However, the growth of Cheddar doesn’t end there. The network has now confirmed that they will be joining Philo and Sling TV within weeks.

Founder and CEO of Cheddar, Joe Steinberg stated,

“We cover the big political stories of the day but don’t torture viewers with circular panels of supposed ‘expert political analysts’. We move on to ‘moose on the loose’, human interest stories, weather, science, sports, and the topics of the day. It’s apolitical. It’s the cable news product that young people want. We now have the full suite news offering with a news network and a business news network.”
