There is no denying that the 1980’s-inspired sci-fi series Stranger Things took the world by storm last year. So much so that Netflix renewed the series for a second season that is set to release in its entirety on October 27, 2017.
With anticipation for Season 2 already at a fever pitch, Netflix has already announced their intentions of producing a third season. Creators, the Duffer Brothers, recently spoke to Vulture about this breaking development.
Brother Matt Duffer expressed some skepticism over the show’s possible longevity. He stated,
“We just have to keep adjusting the story. Though I don’t know if we can justify something bad happening to them once a year.”
Co-creator and other brother, Ross Duffer, chimed in,
“We’re thinking it will be a four-season thing and then out.”
