Who Won the Thursday Night Football War?

As we have been following, Thursday Night Football is a hot commodity for cord-cutters. After NFL first experimented with livestreaming on Twitter, the sports organization realized they caught lightning in a bottle. So, they then moved onto Amazon Prime where they struck gold.

Following the success of Thursday Night Football on Amazon Prime, a bidding war broke out for rights to next season. Now we can confirm, Thursday Night Football will be airing…on Amazon Prime.

Prime Video won the rights yet again. As part of the deal, you can also watch the livestream on Amazon’s service, Twitch. While that is great for Fire TV users, Twitch isn’t available on Roku or Apple TV. However, there are unofficial apps that you can download to work around the prohibition.
