Spectrum Drives Up Prices

Weren’t we just applauding Spectrum? After all, they seemed to be the ones who were going to make our A La Carte TV dreams come true. Just days after we confirmed that Spectrum has a smaller tier that allows for A La Carte TV through their service, we can now confirm that the Time Warner Cable owned company is also looking to bump up their TV prices.

Last year, Spectrum TV created their own live TV streaming service to little fanfare. The name of this endeavor is called Stream. Through Stream, you are able to add 25 channels, including local networks, to your service. However, in doing so this opens you up to a broadcast TV fee. The service that used to be $19.95 has crept up to $21.99 per month.

With this increase comes some other improvements. Stream has now gone from 5,000 on-demand titles and doubled it to 10,000.

If you are looking to subscribe to Spectrum TV Stream, the service is available on the following devices:

  • Android
  • iOS
  • Kindle Fire Tablets
  • Roku
  • Samsung Smart TVs
  • X Box One
