DIRECTV NOW Adds Stream, Delays DVR

Recently, the parent company of DIRECTV NOW, AT&T, held their 4th quarter earnings call for the company’s investors. During their speech, AT&T revealed some plans for DIRECTV NOW’s upcoming app update.

One of the most positive outcomes of this earning calls was the announcement that DIRECTV NOW subscribers will have access to a third consecutive stream.

That means one more person in your household, or on your plan, can watch DIRECTV NOW live at once. Slated to roll-out in the springtime, this will coincide with the launch of DVR.

DIRECTV NOW had speculated that DVR would become a reality around January or February. With February already here, it became abundantly clear that this was not going to happen.

While this spring may be far away, DIRECTV NOW is sending out more and more beta invites for their DVR service. So, keep an eye on your e-mails!
