Amazon Fire has been a great device for cord-cutters. However, it is about to get even more convenient. The Seattle-based company offers their Amazon Fire services directly through a new television to hit the market.
Amazon Fire TV Edition is now available through three different television manufacturers- Element, Seiki, and Westinghouse. Like many smart TVs, these 4K Ultra HDTVs enable you to stream your media apps such as Amazon Prime Video, Sling TV, Netflix, and Hulu. You can also hook an antenna to the back of the television to access local over-the-air channels.
What sets Amazon Fire TV Edition apart from other smart TVs is that there is no need to change inputs. With your antenna hooked up, you can seamlessly change from watching Hulu to a local channel. Amazon Fire TV Edition also allows you to pause live television for five minutes. If you need longer than five minutes, you are able to pause for an hour as long as you slip in a flash drive or SD card.
Amazon Fire Edition TVs are available directly at Element, Seiki, and Westinghouse brick-and-mortar and online stores.
