Following the uncanny success of Amazon Prime streaming NFL Thursday Night Football, Twitter wants rights back to the sport. However, Twitter is not alone. A bidding war has broken out that not only includes Amazon and Twitter, but YouTube and Verizon have jumped into the discussion as well.
This bidding war comes on the heels of Amazon announcing that they had 18 million viewers last season.With these astronomical numbers, NFL is looking at many suitors to try to make as much money as possible.
On top of that, the sports league just announced FOX the winner in the network broadcast bidding wars, as they beat out NBC and CBS.
