A la carte TV is almost here…and it’s almost gone. The first true offering of what could be described as an a la carte TV package was made available by Spectrum earlier this year. While this sounds great, the offer is set to expire on April 12. So act now!
At first, the television providers were only reaching out to their internet customers. However, they have now expanded toward their package subscribers. Perhaps this is being done in anticipation of customers cutting the cord, following Spectrum’s announced price increase.
Now, Spectrum customers may sign up for a small core package of stations that allows you to add on 10 additional channels. The core package covers:
- 25 music channels
Here are some fine prints for this service:
- You may add premium networks such as HBO for an additional fee
- You must went a DVR box if you want that option
- The service is $21.99 per month for the first 24 months, with a $3 broadcast TV fee
- There is no contract so you may cancel any time
